KOCO.COM AND HAPPENING NOW NEW. THIS MORNING. AUTHORITIES ARE INVESTIGATING AFTER TWO BODIES WERE FOUND AT A HOME IN EASTERN OKLAHOMA ON SATURDAY. DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO A SHOOTING FINDING 56 YEAR OLD A 56 YEAR OLD, RATHER DEAD, WITH GUNSHOT AND STAB WOUNDS. THE OKLAHOMA STATE BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION WAS CALLED IN TO HELP. ONE SUSPECT WAS FOUND HURT AT THE SCENE. THEY WERE TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL. ANOTHER SUSPECT TOOK OFF BUT WAS LATER FOUND AND ARRESTED. The woman, who was identified as 56-year-old Tina Mitchell, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. One suspect, who was identified as a 49-year-old man, fled the area on foot. A second suspect, a 39-year-old man, was on the scene when deputies arrived. The 39-year-old "sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment," according to the OSBI. It wasn't immediately clear how the man was injured. He was arrested and booked into the Haskell County Jail. The next day, law enforcement officials continued to search the property, and they found a second deceased person. The body was transported to the Medical Examiner's Office to determine the cause and manner of death. This is an ongoing investigation. KOCO has chosen not to name the suspects until they are formally charged. At about 6 p.m., deputies were called to a possible shooting in the area of Cass Road, where they found a woman who had apparently been stabbed and shot.
