Crichton on Talladega Superspeedway: "This place is just so special"

Race weekend is coming at Talladega April 25-27.

It starts Friday, April 25 with ARCA Menards Series practice and NASCAR Xfinity Series qualifying. The day wraps up with the Big Show on the Boulevard at 7:00.

Saturday, April 26 the ARCA Menards Series General Tire 200 runs at 11:30, followed by the NASCAR Xfinity Series AG-Pro 300 at 3:00. The day culminates with a concert by Justin Moore at 7:30.

Sunday, April 27 the NASCAR Cup Series Jack Link's 500 runs at 2:00.

"It’s the history. It’s the tradition," Talladega Superspeedway President Brian Crichton said. "It’s the feeling you get when you drive up Speedway Boulevard. 56 years. The Alabama gang and what they mean to us here at Talladega Superspeedway. All the incredible finishes. This place is just so special. You’ve got to come here just to see it. It’s one of the great, core traditional facilities in NASCAR.”
