Max Verstappen took pole with a time of 1:26.204, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri struggled to get out in the closing sectors, and Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon were close behind. Kimi Antonelli was the surprise of the afternoon with third place, the best rookie in Formula 1.
With the last 3 minutes, everyone returns to the track, looking for the first 10 places, Max as the favorite to remain the winner of the Pole, the McLarens behind him, but down there the Mercedes with Kimi and George pending, the Williams as well.

Still without time for Hadjar, Lawson being the penultimate position with 14th place, Doohan, Ocon and Russell at risk of leaving Q2, being eliminated, Bortoleto could still fall if not improve, Esteban in trouble with the Haas in the corner.
Lando Norris has the second best time, less than 1 second behind Piastri, while Charles Leclerc has had many problems on the track, with Lawson, Hadjar, Doohan, Ocon and Russell at risk of elimination.
Max Verstappen has the best time with 1:26.643, Carlos Sainz with the second best time on track, the Williams is working for the Madrid native, Albon is still among the top of the table, but Oscar Piastri is at 1:26.269.
Q2 begins, and now it's getting into its prime, as we're already seeing a glimpse of tomorrow's grid order. The first drivers are already heading out onto the track, vying for the best time.
Drivers eliminated from Q1 include Hulkenberg, Alonso, Gasly, Stroll, and Bearman. Lewis Hamilton narrowly escaped the race, while Sauber will retain Brazilian driver Bortoleto, who will keep his car in Q2.
Last minute of Q1, with everyone in the risk zone needing to improve their time, including Lewis Hamilton with the Ferrari, who remains in the elimination zone, and Ocon, Stroll, Alonso, and Bearman in danger of dropping out.

French driver Isack Hadjar set a great lap, which will keep him in Q1 and go to Q2, Kimi Antonelli with a 1:27.077 being a great lap for the Italian, Sainz better on track than a while ago in the Sprint.
Hadjar had a problem with a Williams on his way out of the pits, which was almost a minor collision. Oscar Piastri remains the leader, Verstappen is second, Lando third and Albon fourth, with Alonso fifth, the fastest cars. Alex Albon is being investigated for that dangerous exit from the pits.
Oscar Piastri takes the best time with 1:27.307 in his McLaren. The Mercedes drivers will have to find another lap, as they changed to new soft tires, in the two cars of George and Kimi. Lawson hasn't started yet, and Stroll and Hadjar are also out of time.
Pierre Gasly is first on track, taking sector 2. Hulkenberg takes the lead with a 1:28.391. Fernando Alonso is out on track, setting a better time than Doohan, the Spaniard who had the miracle of being here.

Kimi Antonelli shared his impressions of his Sprint race.

Liam Lawson commented on the on-track accident with Alonso.
“Alonso pinned me against the wall. I was ahead of the apex trying to overtake you. I was going to hit the wall, and I tried to avoid it. He didn't give me the space, that wasn't my intention.”
Fernando Alonso commented in the interview section about staying close to the points.
"I was behind Hamilton and Albon in the race. I had requested dry tires. The team thought it wasn't necessary. We never had to fight with Lawson, but rather with Hamilton for the podium."

Oscar Piastri leads the Drivers' Championship with 99 points, being the number one with McLaren, followed by Lando Norris in second place with 89 points. Max Verstappen, the World Champion, is third with 87 points, George Russell has 73 points in fourth place, followed by Charles Leclerc in fifth with 47 points, Kimi Antonelli rounds out the top six with 38 points, the best rookie of the season, Hamilton is seventh, Albon is eighth, Ocon is ninth, and Stroll is tenth. Last in the standings is Gabriel Bortoleto with 0 points in 20th place. The two Australian drivers, Lawson and Doohan, have 0 points, the same as Fernando Alonso.
With this race in Miami only being held for three years, we've only had two champions at this circuit. In 2022 and 2023, Max Verstappen won consecutively. Lando Norris won for the first time in 2024 with his McLaren last year.
The Albert Park-style street circuit is located in Miami, Florida, United States. A race track that has been renovated until 2041. This circuit is 5.4 kilometers long, with 19 corners (12 left-handers and 7 right-handers), with 3 DRS zones, a total of 57 laps, a length of 5.412 kilometers, a race distance of 308.326 kilometers, and its first Grand Prix was held in 2022. The circuit is close to the Miami Dolphins' home stadium, Hard Rock Stadium.
