KENTUCKY STATE POLICE WERE CONTACTED BY CINCINNATI PD ASKING FOR HELP FINDING A CAR. 25 YEAR OLD TARYN MINNIEFIELD FACES FELONY CHARGES OF STRANGULATION. POLICE WERE TRYING TO FIND HIM IN WESTCHESTER WHEN HE TRIED TO HIT OFFICERS WITH HIS CAR. HE DROVE OFF. GOING SOUTH ON 71, KENTUCKY STATE POLICE WERE ABLE TO STOP HIM AROUND THE 40 MILE MARKER IN CARROLL COUNTY.

Kentucky State Police assisted in the arrest of a man accused of trying to ram officers with the West Chester Police Department.Police said Terron Minnifield was accused of trying to use his car to hit West Chester officers while they attempted to arrest him. He was previously wanted for strangulation charges.On Thursday, the KSP post in Campbellsburg was contacted by Cincinnati police to locate Minnifield on Interstate-71.After KSP located him on the interstate, Minnifield allegedly fled the scene.Troopers used a tire deflation device and eventually arrested the 25-year-old using a “legal intervention technique.”Minnifield has been charged with fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, possession of marijuana and speeding 18 miles per hour over the speed limit.Kentucky State Police was assisted by Ohio Law Enforcement in the arrest.

Police said Terron Minnifield was accused of trying to use his car to hit West Chester officers while they attempted to arrest him. He was previously wanted for strangulation charges.
