KSP arrest strangulation suspect accused of trying to hit West Chester officers
Kentucky State Police assisted in the arrest of a man accused of trying to ram officers with the West Chester Police Department.
Police said Terron Minnifield was accused of trying to use his car to hit West Chester officers while they attempted to arrest him. He was previously wanted for strangulation charges.
On Thursday, the KSP post in Campbellsburg was contacted by Cincinnati police to locate Minnifield on Interstate-71.
After KSP located him on the interstate, Minnifield allegedly fled the scene.
Troopers used a tire deflation device and eventually arrested the 25-year-old using a “legal intervention technique.”
Minnifield has been charged with fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, possession of marijuana and speeding 18 miles per hour over the speed limit.
Kentucky State Police was assisted by Ohio Law Enforcement in the arrest.
