President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is leading Namibia’s delegation to the 2025 US-Africa Business Summit, hosted by the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) and the Angolan government in Luanda, Angola.

The summit, running from 22nd to 25th June 2025 under the theme "Pathways to Prosperity: A Shared Vision for the U.S.-Africa Partnership", will be attended by African heads of state and government, ministers, senior U.S. government officials, and business leaders from U.S. and African companies.

Tomorrow, President Nandi-Ndaitwah will speak during the plenary session on Advancing US-Africa Energy Partnerships: From Dialogue to Delivery. On Tuesday, she will deliver a statement during the session on Women in Leadership: Driving Innovation, Catalysing Investments, and Shaping Policy.

In a statement, Press Secretary Alfredo Hengari said Namibia's participation in the U.S.–Africa Business Summit presents an opportunity for the country to attract foreign investment and expand trade opportunities, particularly by increasing investments in priority sectors such as agriculture, infrastructure, energy, mining, oil, and gas.

The 2025 U.S.–Africa Business Summit sessions aim to foster stronger economic ties and partnerships between the United States and African nations, expanding trade, investment, and business development opportunities.

The summit will also focus on key issues and opportunities shaping U.S.-Africa trade and investment by bringing together participants for high-level discussions to explore critical challenges, define priority sectors, and create new pathways for economic collaboration.

President Nandi-Ndaitwah will depart for Angola today and return to Namibia on Tuesday.
