Unroadworthy vehicles | Motorists sceptical of JMPD officers

JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg metro police are intensifying efforts to clamp down on unroadworthy cars and minibuses. 

Any vehicle found with more than three defects, such as a cracked windscreen, faulty indicators or worn tyres, will be taken off the road.

But motorists seem sceptical about JMPD officials.

This comes after recent findings have confirmed public trust in the police has reached worryingly low levels.
