Usyk and Dubois return to the ring for their highly anticipated rematch, following a controversial opener in Wroclaw where the Ukrainian eventually came out on top.

Early Usyk vs Dubois 2 undercard results
Lasha Guruli beats James Francis by RTD
First up tonight was the highly rated Georgian Lasha Guruli, who needed only four rounds to stop James Francis. Guruli took bronze last year at the Paris Olympics and had too much for Francis, whose corner stopped the contest after four rounds.
Aadam Hamed beats Ezequiel Gregores on points
In second contest on the main card, Aadam Hamed, the son of former world champion 'Prince' Naseem, beat Ezequiel Gregores to move to 6-0 in his nascent career. Hamed was always in control and got the decision by 40-36 on the referee's scorecard.
Usyk vs Dubois weigh-in results

At yesterday's weigh-in, Dubois tipped the scales at 17st 6lb, which is 10lbs heavier than he fought in the first bout.
Usyk weighed 16st 3lb, a career-high for the Ukrainian.
"I'm locked in, focused and I can't wait," Dubois said. "I'm going to win by any means necessary."
Yet the Englishman was then upstaged as the unbeaten Usyk moved to the front of the stage and received a rapturous round of applause from the gathered audience.
Could the 'away' fighter actually have the support of the Wembley crowd for this one, despite it being in Dubois home city of London?

😱 Big upset as Solomon Dacres beats Vladyslav Sirenko by unanimous decision
Strange fight this. Sirenko started as favorite and was expected to look good against Dacres, who lost conclusively to David Adeleye inside a round last time out and only took the fight at late notice. Indeed, Sirenko had 19 stoppages on his record since turning pro in 2017 and had only gone the distance on three occasions. The headliner is part of headline act Usyk's stable of fighters he's building.
Yet the hitherto unbeaten 30-year-old lacked slow, lacklustre and, dare I say it, uninterested throughout this 10 rounder. Dacres took the majority of the opening rounds and looked in control until the eighth round when Sirenko landed a superb hook to Dacres' temple.
It was then a case of too little too late for the Ukrainian. His body language throughout the fight was poor, and by the end of the fight barely looked like he was listening to his corner.
Dacres, on the other hand, took a risk after that Adeleye defeat and has come up smelling of roses. He's not the hardest hitter and won't knock many out, but he's well set up and very fit.
Dacres takes it 99-91, 98-92 and 99-92 on the scorecards by unanimous decision. They're wide, but Dacres was worth every penny to inflict Sirenko's first defeat.
The Usyk vs Dubois 2 rematch is the classic question: revenge or repeat?
Yet Dubois' quest for revenge is stronger than most. In the fifth round in August 2023 in Wroclaw, Poland, Dynamite landed a body punch plumb on Usyk's belt line that forced his opponent to take a knee. The referee ruled it low, and gave Usyk four minutes to recover.
Plenty, including the whole Dubois corner and promoted Frank Warren, have screamed blue murder ever since that he was robbed of a stellar victory, with Usyk later going on to stop Dubois in the ninth round.
We've put the first fight above so you can check it out for yourself. Personally, I've always thought it was low – no part of the glove hit Usyk flesh – but the referee did give the champion too long to recover.
Tonight, Dubois will again target the body but must avoid Usyk's constant front foot pressure, where he comes on strong late in fights.

🔛 Daniel Lapin vs Lewis Edmondson
Lapin is another member of the Usyk stable and will be wanting to put on a better showing than Sirenko.
Lapin his highly skilled and rated and will defend his IBF Intercontinental light heavyweight title, with the vacant WBA Continental strap also on the line.
Edmondson is no slouch, though. Unbeaten, he's the reigning British and Commonwealth champion and beat the well-liked Dan Azeez two fights ago to step up to the domestic level. Lapin, though, is another opponent entirely.
Both are 11-0 and someone's '0' has got to go...
🤔 Is Daniel Dubois at Wembley yet?
On the DAZN stream, commentator Adam Smith wonders aloud whether Daniel Dubois is at Wembley yet.
We've seen Oleksandr Usyk's arrival, and just had dressing room shots of the Cat having his hands wrapped by Russ Amber, but is Dubois there?
Then, right on cue, Dubois walks through stage door with his family and younger brother Solomon by his side. The tension is rising already.
Meanwhile, Lapin vs Edmondson is close through four rounds. The rangy Lapin maybe withe cleaner work, but it's close...

🤏 Lapin beats Edmondson by majority decision

A slow-burner to begin with, this fight caught light when Lapin went halfway over the top rope twice in the eighth round.
The Ukrainian came on strong after that and took the last two rounds, but Edmondson still landed shots.
Both fighters raised their arms, with home fighter Edmondson thinking he'd nicked it. It was close, but it goes to the scorecards.
One draw and two cards of 96-94 on the scorecards and Lapin takes a razor-thin decision on the cards. Ultimately, it came down to what you prefer: Lapin's cleaner work or Edmondson's eye-catching shots.

⏭️ Lawrence Okolie vs Kevin Lerena
Next up is the chief support for the evening as Lawrence Okolie takes on Kevin Lerena for Okolie's WBC silver heavyweight title.
Okolie has won his last two fights in the first round, but is still rebuilding after losing his WBO cruiserweight world title to Chris Billam-Smith in May 2023. He looked slow and cumbersome that night and has since added extra poundage to his frame.
Lerena is a former opponent of headliner Dubois and knocked Dynamite down three times in the opening round of their December 2022 bout, only to be stopped himself in the third round.
Lerena has talked up the upset in fight week, though Okolie starts as favorite. Ring walks are done, so get in front of that DAZN stream and watch along.
👌 Okolie boxing well thru five rounds

Okolie has been criticized before for leaning on his opponents and not doing enough. This, however, is Okolie 2.0 and the former McDonald's burger flipper is looking really good through five rounds.
Yes, he's leaning on Lerena, but he's using all his 240lbs-plus frame to drain the South African's swift hands. Okolie is landing plenty on the inside and boxing well at range. The Sauce looks must happier at heavyweight – it always felt too much of a stretch for him to boil down to cruiserweight.
Okolie will have probably taken each of the opening five rounds on the judges' cards, albeit the fifth was better from Lerena.

🥊 Okolie beats Lerena by unanimous decision
Okolie has won a wide decision here. The Sauce jabbed brilliantly all night and had far too much for Lerena, who it must be said did the square root of nothing through the 10 rounds.
Okolie still looks a little heavy, for my money, but if he can shed 10lbs or so then he could do some damage further up in the blue ribband boxing division.
Two cards had it a shutout for Okolie, one 99-91. Lerena was really poor.
Wembley is nearly full now, with the great and the good at ringside for the main event. It really is a picture, with the atmosphere building to a crescendo.

Usyk is the master technician, Dubois has dynamite in his fists. But the latter must do more than he managed in the first fight. The low blow aside, he never got near the champion and must go big early.

Get in and out
Usyk still isn’t really a heavyweight. Just let that sink in for a second. Even at cruiserweight, the Ukrainian wasn’t the biggest yet has still managed to beat (and stop) Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. A southpaw of rare skill and speed, he simply doesn’t get hit.
Apply mind games
It isn’t just in the weigh-in where Usyk will try to win the psychological battle. Tony Bellew, who lost to Usyk in his first fight in the UK, has always spoken about how draining it is to fight the 38-year-old. Usyk feints. Usyk makes you miss. Usyk is working constantly. That tires a fighter and is why, from the eighth round onwards, he comes on strong

Start well
Dynamite stands almost no chance of winning a points decision. Usyk is too crafty, too cute and too skilled. What he must do is take heed from Derek Chisora in his bout with Usyk – stick it on him. Dubois has power and must push forward early to take Usyk out of his comfort zone.
Target the body
No, it wasn’t a legal shot in the first fight, but it shows what can be done if you go for Usyk’s body. The Cat has almost no weaknesses but he’s small for a heavyweight, so Dubois – 11 years his opponent’s junior – must use his size and age advantage to go hard to the body early and get this done inside the distance.
Usyk vs Dubois 2: ring walks
Daniel Dubois is making his way to the ring, and he looks eyes fixed on the ring as he comes in. Against Anthony Joshua last time out, he had the same look on his face. Teeth gritted, he roars himself into the ring.
That AJ win 10 months ago was an absolute destruction no-one predicted or saw coming. Dubois has beaten Jerrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic and AJ in the past 18 months when nobody predicted any of those.
He needs those big punches in the biggest moment of his career.
Usyk looks typically chill, calm and focused as ever. Wearing a grey coat, he looks ready to go.
Carl Frampton made a great point earlier on commentary. Yes, Dubois will have watched the first fight back and learned plenty, he’s also improved immeasurably since, but Usyk has also done all that. Frampton calls him “a genius” and says he’ll already have downloaded everything that Dubois does badly and will use that to his advantage from the bell.
Usyk is a master craftsman, a pure technician who takes the sweet science to another level. If Dubois does manage to target that body and rough up Usyk, it ranks as arguably the biggest upset in boxing history.

IBF champion Dubois. WBC, WBA, WBO champion Usyk. And it sounds like Usyk has the room, despite being the 'away' fighter.

Round 1
Usyk nails Dubois with a right jab with the first landed punch of the fight. This is what Usyk does.
Dubois has to double up his jab and get forwards. It's a slow start from Dubois, who must start fast to stand any chance.
Usyk's foot movement is on another level. Hypnotic. He said he's start fast and he has.
Dubois looks tense, Usyk so relaxed and like it's so easy. The Ukrainian southpaw's front foot makes it impossible for Dubois to get close.
And then when Dubois does land, Usyk counters with the better shot with his opponent on the way in with the best shot of the round. Usyk's lead hand stops any attack, and it all has an effect.
In the final seconds, Dubois tried to come in and Usyk tagged him again with a great left hand. It's another Usyk round and the last thing Dubois wanted.
Dubois comes out swinging at the start of the 3rd and lands a right cross. Tries to follow it up with a combination around the top of the head – he's yet to target the body as many expected.
Chants or 'USYK, USYK' go around Wembley, despite Dubois just shading the start of the round.
Then, Usyk steps on it in the final minute with a sublime left hand that staggered Dubois. Usyk follows it up with another ramrod jab.
Usyk finishes the round strongly and definitely landed the better shots in round, but Dubois started better. Closer round, but still probably Usyk's.
After a better round for Dubois, that he could have shaded, Usyk comes back out and gets back to work. Lots of feints, jabs that land and Dubois takes a big gulp of air.
He tries to back up Usyk in a corner but ghosts his way out. Dubois goes to the body finally, but Usyk counters.
Usyk picked Dubois off there, and the heavy breathing may be instructive.
Dubois starts strongly with a straight right, but Usyk takes a step back to recover. He then lands with a left, Dubois tries to counter
KNOCKDOWN! A savage left hook takes Dubois off his feet and he didn't see. He gets back up and tries to again but...
KNOCKOUT! A stunning left hook knocks Dubois spark out. Usyk landed a left, then came back with the hook that knocked out Dubois' gumshield. Savage but also a work of art at the same time.
Stunning.
🫅 Usyk is a King
That stoppage was part-savage, part-clinic. He'd buzzed Dubois with a jab, then saw his opening, eyes widening, and knocked Dynamite to the floor. Incredible
One minute, 52 seconds of round 5. Usyk is a three-time undisputed champion and must go down as one of the all-time greats.
I spent that fight saying 'he's too good' constantly.
"Next? Three options: Fury, Chisora, Joshua..."
Usyk: "Thirty-eight is a young guy, remember. 38 is only the start.
"I say thank you Jesus Christ, Virgin Mary, my team and you, Wembley. Thank you so much!
"[What is the victory for today?] It's for the people. For our war people.
"Next? I don't know, I want to rest back at home with my wife and children for two or three months.
"Maybe Tyson Fury? Maybe we have three options? Maybe Tyson Fury, maybe Derek Chisora, maybe Anthony Joshua? Oh, maybe Joseph Parker.
"I love you, Wembley!"
Dubois: "I commend him, I gave everything I had"
Dubois: "I commend him. I gave everything I had. Take no credit away from the man, he was the better man.
"I was just fighting, trying to pick it up round by round.
"We'll come back from this and go again."
Don Charles, Dubois' trainer: "We tried to get going, he's young at 27. He'll come back from this. Usyk is a generational great. He'll come back from this."
"It's Joe Parker's time"
Frank Warren says that the WBO have ordered Usyk to defend his belt against their No1 challenger Joe Parker.
"It's Joe Parker next, it's his time," says promoter Warren.
Warren is also Tyson Fury's promoter, so this feels significant.
🐐 Usyk: the GOAT?

No-one has been able to do what Oleksandr Usyk has done. Three times the Ukrainian has been undisputed, twice at heavyweight and once at cruiserweight.
Not only is he top of the current pound-for-pound king, Usyk is now approaching GOAT territory. That he's an all-time great is, ironically, undisputed but he's now approaching Ali levels of genius.
Dubois will come again, and credit to him for his guts, but he overreached with his punches and Usyk took advantage. He knew what to expect from the first fight, adapted and improved.
