Schneider president at Firestone Industrial

NASHVILLE, TN – Craig Schneider has been named president of Firestone Industrial Products, succeeding Scott Damon who was recently named president – commercial group, U.S. and Canada for Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations.

Schneider will oversee more than 1,500 global employees who manufacture and market air suspension products. Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, the business also has a European office and technical center in the Netherlands; two North American plants; manufacturing facilities in Brazil, Poland, India, and Costa Rica, and an assembly facility in China. Customers are in the industrial, heavy-duty and light-duty markets.

Schneider joins Bridgestone after more than 13 years at Shell Oil. He most recently served as senior vice president and general manager of retail sales – lubricants. Prior to that role, Schneider served as vice president and general manager retail – fuels marketing. He also previously served as vice president and general manager of lubes marketing, and group manager, business-to-consumer key accounts, among other roles. Prior to joining Shell Oil Company, Schneider spent several years as a consultant with CapGemini and Ernst & Young.
