What you need to know:

2019 Season. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina, to be held on December 1, will be the season-ender. It will be the 21st of the season

For the past three years, Mandela Group, through their City Tyres subsidiary, have been partnering Italian tyre maker, Pirelli, to take Ugandans to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina circuit. This, according to Herbert Bashaasha, the group marketing manager, has been to reward their customers with the best experience. And in the previous editions, customers had to buy four Pirelli tyres to enter the draw. That has been halved to two tyres now. Every two tyres will earn the customer a coupon to enter the monthly draw. Apart from the main winner, there will also be other winning stakes, including 50 liters of fuel plus full servicing of vehicles.
Eight winners will be flown to Abu Dhabi for the Formula One’s last race of the year, which will happen on December 1.
“This campaign has been a success over the years and we are making it easier for everyone by halving the number of tyres to enter it. So we believe that this will open opportunities to many people,” said Bashaasha.
The Abu Dhabi GP joined the Formula One calendar in 2009 and has become firmly established as the final race of the season. It is the only current F1 race that’s named after its host city rather than its host country. Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton is the most successful driver at the Abu Dhabi, with four wins.
